“Christianity in a Pluralistic Age” Lecture at ERBC

Hi guys (and Sarah too!)–

This Sunday night, February 7, at 6:30 pm, at the Ellerslie Road Church, Canadian Baptist Seminary (as part of The Journey Centre) is bringing Paul Chamberlain to Edmonton to present a public lecture entitled “Christianity in a Pluralistic Age”.  Paul is on the faculty of Trinity Western University/ACTS.  His Ph.D. is in philosophy though he’s more of an apologist than pure philosopher.  Paul is an old friend (we went to Bible College together) and he’s gone a long way since that time.  In my mind, he is one of the brightest minds in Canadian Evangelicalism.  The topic he will be addressing is a key cultural issue for us as Canadians.  My suspicions are that he will “hit it out of the park” because he gets “it” in life.

I plan on going.  Let me encourage you to carve the evening out too.  If you have someone in your church you want to hang out with, this would be a good event to take in together.  I plan on making a gift to CBS because they can always use a gift!   You can plan on doing what you think is right.

Hope to see you there,

Fondly

Jamey
